As mentioned in the Roadmap for Shotwell 33 (Rough Shotwell "Roadmap" after April 22nd), the Shotwell nightly flatpak will switch to the GTK4 branch end of this week. So everyone who isn’t interested in a somewhat broken experience should switch to flathub.
