Pitch-black theme for OLED screens

I’d like to revisit this post: Support for amOLED mode?

One of my laptop’s biggest power drains is its OLED screen. Maximizing the use of dark colors has a measurable impact on its power consumption, especially while idle.

I’d love to see some sort of official support for a color scheme which is better suited for OLED screens; one with a low brightness color scheme, possibly taking advantage of pitch black for certain elements.

Me, too. Also please add a built in feature in settings menu to autohide Topbar. It is an element that could cause screen burn over long period of time (apple OS do have this feature built in in their settings).

I’d really like to see some consideration for devices with OLED screens in GNOME’s features…
