Thanx, I subscribed to the issue but as the issue is already 2y old I am unsure how to proceed and submit the updated translation via Damned Lies.

Hi all! As we have started to work on GIMP 3.2, we are already planning to release the first development version towards this destination. There is no string freeze yet and some strings can still heavily change, as well as new strings can be added. Nevertheless this is still of interest to developers to know that we will soon release a first build for the general public (at least the adventurous ones!). Any ideas on workaround?

I will try two things as workaround - force refresh.
If this does not work I will shorten the file by removing the source locations.

They can be trivially restored.
