Whenever I try to submit the Bulgarian translation via Module Translation: gimp to the repo the process just times out.
I tried several times and I also checked the repo (gimp/po-plug-ins at master · GNOME/gimp · GitHub) to see whether it was done in the background.
It is still timing out and is not submitted.
How can I get the Bulgarian translation in? Is this due to some maximum time or maximum size set? The file is large: 565K as it is in UTF-8.
I see no similar reports currently in Discourse or DL bugtracker: Issues · Infrastructure / damned-lies · GitLab
This looks like issue https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/damned-lies/-/issues/409.
Thanx, I subscribed to the issue but as the issue is already 2y old I am unsure how to proceed and submit the updated translation via Damned Lies.
The 3.1.2 is due soon:
Any ideas on workaround?
I will try two things as workaround - force refresh.
If this does not work I will shorten the file by removing the source locations.
They can be trivially restored.
Someone from the DamnedLies team should answer that. I guess keep trying to refresh.
If that doesn’t work an option would be to create a Merge Request with the changes, explicitly stating that due to the timeouts the translation can’t be added the normal way. However, this suggestion needs to be vetted by the DamnedLies team first.
