Recently, I upgraded my system from Ubuntu 23.10 to 24.04 (GNOME version 46.0), and encountered the following issues. I’m not sure if these issues have been fixed in the newer GNOME versions or if they have already been reported, so I’m bringing them up here.
- Outline does not disappear automatically
Steps to Reproduce:
- For a non-maximized window, hover the mouse at the top edge of the window where it meets the desktop (the mouse icon changes to the resize shape).
- Click and drag the mouse, moving the window towards the top of the screen.
- After the outline appears, drag the mouse slightly downward. The outline does not disappear and remains visible, creating a persistent effect.
- Multiple outlines
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable “Activate Screen Edges” in the settings.
- Use this feature to resize the window.
- This results in the effect shown in the attached screenshot.
