Ah Windows, we do love encoding weirdness

Gtk always uses utf8 - is possible your console isn’t expecting that? It looks like you’ve got some warnings - Can we see them please?

That is certainly an interesting environment, Is suspect the issue here is a mismatch between Microsoft’s 1252 encoding and UTF8
