I’ve been looking at the help documents and around the web and I can’t find anywhere that describes what the colors and symbols mean for a standard file or folder comparison (not version control). I feel like I’m missing something obvious?
Can you post a screenshot of what you’re referring to ?
These are described for folder comparisons on the Getting started comparing folders page, in the “States in folder comparisons” section.
I thought we had a similar table for file comparison but turns out we don’t. The simple answer is that green is an insert, blue is a modification, and red is conflict.
Thanks. The linked page has what I was looking for. It looks like the same info isn’t under same page in the Help section on the app itself. Version 3.22.0-2 for Linux for reference.
Ah yeah, turns out the docs about the emblem meaning were only added in the current development series. They’ll be in the next unstable 3.23.x release though.
