I found some servers at work have one occurrence each 4 seconds of this error:
<Date> <Time> <Server> NetworkManager[<PID>]: <error> [<Timestamp>] [rdisc/nm-lndp-rdisc.c:68] send_rs(): (ens224): cannot send router solicitation: -101.
I don’t know if this can be related, but these interfaces ens224 in each server have manual IPv4 addresses, which is the expected settings, but also IPv6 addresses set to DHCP - we don’t have IPv6 nor DHCP in the network these interfaces connect to.
All affected servers run NM 1.0.6-29 in RHEL 7.2. Yes, long obsolete, but I’d like to at least understand the error, in order to decide next steps.
