What happened to meld's undo/redo buttons?

Just upgraded from RHEL 7 (meld v3.16.4) to RHEL 9 (meld v3.22.1) … ugh, where did the undo/redo buttons go??

oh… I found undo/redo on the right-click menu … but missing is the context sensitive “copy to Right” and “copy to Left” actions.
UI changes for the sake of change is why Gnome3 is a disaster too. sigh. Can you tell I’m old?
