What about creating an option to be able to change GDM background?

What would everyone think about this feature ? I am tired of the plan purple (on ubuntu). And having the ability of putting an image like a landscape would be much more greeting

yes but I meant the exposition of this setting in the settings app (not yet another app!)

Probably won’t happen, sadly.

GDM runs as a separate user, so you cannot use the System Settings to control the GDM settings.
