Welcoming Cassidy Blaede to the GNOME Foundation Board of Directors

I am very happy to announce that Cassidy Blaede has been appointed to the GNOME Foundation Board of Directors. Cassidy has taken up the seat vacated by Michael Downey, who resigned in January due to conflicting work commitments.

Cassidy is a long-standing GNOME community member, who brings plenty of insight and experience to this role.

We’re very grateful to Cassidy for volunteering to be a director. Thank you!

That’s great. I am sure he will bring great stuff. I know him since his ‘elementary’ days.

For transparency, can you please share the affiliation of @cassidyjames and @ptomato? They haven’t been made public since they were both appointed and didn’t go through the election process.
