Visual personalization in GNOME: Does GNOME want this experience?

This would be what I would like to see. 100% agree

Any updates that aren’t present on this discussion about having Adwaita in different colors?

Also, I remembered right now that before Android’s implementation of a Dark Theme, there was (and still is) a Developer Option to “Override Dark Theme”, this option changes the theme of applications that use Android’s SDK to a dark theme (it is noted that some texts might become hard to read), which is similar to changing the theme from Adwaita to Adwaita Dark…

I feel like there is a very big demand for at least changing the theme for Adwaita Dark natively, so maybe, just like Android, GNOME Could add a not directly accessible “Developer” or “Experimental” or “Advanced” option to GNOME Settings, there more advanced settings could be found, such as but not limited to:

  • Systemd management
  • GNOME Tweaks settings (including changing GTK theme)
  • Looking glass
