Using Nautilus as file picker means no more folder history

Hi. My debian unstable system recently updated to start using Nautilus as the default file picker. Immediately I ran into an issue with my usual workflow.

When moving files around I typically select “move to” and in the file picker select the destination from the Recent list.

However, with Nautilus the recent section only contains files and not folders. So I have to navigate to the required folder every time.

Pinning folders to the sidebar isn’t a viable solution as the sidebar would grow too long.

Thinking about it, I wonder if extending Nautilus’ file history to also include folders would be the best solution? This would also improve on the old file picker as it’s easy to selectively remove items from Nautilus’ history.
