Use Thunderbird calendar to Gnome clock widget

Is there a way to use the Thunderbird calendar for the Gnome clock widget? Like showing events from the TB calendar and open TB calendar when clicking on it (instead of Gnome Calendar)

I found this TB extension (EDS Calendar Integration :: Modules pour Thunderbird), but it does not work with newer versions.
