Just wanted to give a shoutout, I tried out Loupe 45 and found that the image transitions while flipping from one image to the next just didn’t perform well (whether it was my system or something inherent) and were pretty jarring.
I just updated my Tumbleweed machines, which included GNOME 46, and tried out Loupe again - what a difference a version makes! The new image transition is beautiful and smooth, looks amazing (on the same device that was stuttering in 45), and gets skipped on keyboard input - exactly what I would have hoped! The beautiful framing of the app is now accompanied by beautiful functionality. For whatever it means to hear from a random user - well done!
