Translators: Distro used for generating help screenshots

Hi,

As part of gnome-software/-/merge_requests/2103#note_2201345, it would be useful to know what distros translators prominently use for generating screenshots for help docs.

Mainly GNOME OS for easy access to nightly packages and screenshots of single windows.

I was expecting GNOME OS and Fedora, but it appears that we have surprisingly Arch as well.

Background:

The primary reason for this poll is GNOME Software works a bit differently on:

  • GNOME OS / Fedora Silverblue
  • Arch
  • Others OS ( Debian / Ubuntu / Fedora Workstation etc.)

So, the instructions for capturing screenshots have to be optimized based on that, so it would be easy for the translators.

How do you set up your GNOME OS: libvirt solution (e.g. Boxes), bare metal, other virtualization software?

Iā€™m using Boxes. Quite happy with this, easy way to have some extra different systems for testing.
