Meta: I can’t seem to find the correct wrench icon to restrict my access to these categories:

  • Foundation Staff
  • Moderators
  • Lounge
  • Foundation Board

@ebassi Can I trouble you to flip that switch?

It probably makes sense for me to remain in the Advisory Board category until the board is happy with the transition. Thanks!

I know it’s not much, but I genuinely loved and enjoyed your weekly blogs. Admittedly, Allan’s blog post shocked me, but what was also shocking to me that you were with us for only 4 months. It really felt like it was much longer than this.

Again, I wish you all the best and thank you for all the things you’ve done. They were and are appreciated.

Thanks, Victoria. It’s funny how much attention those little blog posts get/got. But I suppose whatever one does in public is what one is recognized for. I hope some of the less visible initiatives maintain their traction, too, but I guess a silly little thing like regular blogging can eventually help introduce a little more transparency to the Foundation… all in good time.

Allan’s doing a great job of keeping up with the Foundation Updates. His writing also has the benefit of being infinitely more concise!

For many in the community, including me, Foundation is a bit of black magic, i.e. they do something in the corner but nobody really knows what. Your blog posts helped many actually understand what Foundation folks are doing and, in a way, make it a bit more open.
