Super key not working consistently in Top bar

Hi everyone,

why does the super key not work whenever a Top bar menu is open? This feels broken to me, but it might be a design decision I simply don’t understand. To me this feels like the super key is not working consistently in the system. I would expect that the Top bar menu closes as soon as I press the super key.

Does anyone know why the behavior is like this?

I think it’s more of an oversight or technical complication than a deliberate choice.
