Speech Recognition on Gnome

There is a land far away, where chivalry is alive and the air is clean, where developers are not threatened by artificial intelligence and everyone on Stack Overflow has elevated levels of empathy, kindness, and warmth. In addition, there is a mythical creature called a dragon. Not the fire-breathing type; the type that converts speech to text. Is there such an application available on Gnome? Ideally one that is locally installed, not client-server.

Thank you.

Hi, there are some related experiments in that area, see GitHub - Manish7093/IBus-Speech-To-Text: A speech to text IBus engine using VOSK.
