Testing SLES15 SP6 public beta that includes Gnome 45. Desktop-Icons selection removed from Extensions app. Changing setting at /org/gnome/desktop/background/show-desktop-icons to True using dconf.editor did not help. Launchers installaed at /root/Desktop/ by installed applications are not displayed on desktop and cannot be launched. Is there some additional desktop-icon app that can be installed to bring this functionality back?
Yes, that extension works. SUSE beta-mail-list replied that this will be resolved with SP6 official release.
