Shotwell 33.beta released

Hello everyone,

I have just tagged Shotwell 33.beta. Enjoy! Main changes:

  • A rework of the printing workflow, adapting to the new printing portal. This should be the last big UI change before the final release.
  • We finally have an overview of all the keyboard shortcuts
  • Fixes for some of the long-standing obscure crashes during startup and normal operation
  • Lots of updated translations

When do you plan on making final release? Would you be fine if we shared it on GNOME socials?

I don’t have a concrete plan, if nothing explodes massively, the earliest would be end of July due to my other schedules.

I’d very much appreciate if you share it on GNOME socials :slight_smile:

Hey @jensgeorg !

As there is no hury, can we agree on not before the 10th of July (as an example – pick a date you want), we need to give translators time to translate and review both UI and the docs.

I’ve no access to Matrix, @tragivictoria would you mind sharing an announcement on i18n channel please?

And start translating! Please contact the team coordinators for advices and instructions if you are not already a member of your language team.
