Our FOSS project has been using the GTK toolbox for decades. But our user docs have never included a detailed look at the GTK File Chooser… with the assumption that these dialogs were self-explanatory.
But a systematic review of public forum support threads indicates many of our non-technical users have been missing out on many features & subtleties. (Switching from breadcrumb mode, bookmarking, OS system variable support, single-click vs. double-click, etc.)
Could anyone share their user doc page on their application’s File Chooser? (The programmer reference didn’t turn out to be a good starting point.)
