I would like a feature to enter scientific numbers in E notation for instance 1E-3 for 0.001. The current way of entering scientific numbers is "1 ctrl-e -1000 ". But this does not produce the intended result if for instance calculating 10/1E-3 gives the result 0.01 instead of 10000.
I understand adding brackets around “1x10⁻³” gives the expected result but it takes a lot of typing…
