Save Chrome Password in Keyrings

Hello,
I have a private Workstation currently running Debian 12. There are no work logons or any confidential data like banking accounts stored so I have set gdm to auto-logon. The problem: Chrome still asks for my password when I open it because I have chosen to save passwords in my Google account. This prompt defeats the purpose of a passwordless logon. I know Gnome has an integrated Keyring app which, for example, offers to store the password to my ssh keys. Is there any way I can use the Keyring app to store the password for Chrome?
Thanks in advance and yours sincerely
Stefan
