Restore dog bark sound effect in GNOME

If someone want it back or change it with another sound you like, is pretty much easy, just download it: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/blob/0dd386f405f49105880041202eeb270959ec3268/panels/sound/data/sounds/bark.ogg

Then replace any of the default ones, like ‘click’:

sudo mv bark.ogg /usr/share/sounds/gnome/default/alerts/click.ogg

Last step: go to settings, audio and select the one you just replaced: click in my example

For sure!

It’s the best alert sound GNOME ever had, for my taste.

Anyway, the point is the resolution of a problem, not the problem itself, otherwise you are looking at the finger that point the moon :slightly_smiling_face:
