Probably is easy to add for Gnome developers and is useful for when you see old screenshots
In my case I have a software for take screenshots when something happen and have the full date ( including the year ) is clearly better than no
is work related, i need to keep that screenshot for 5yo for proof/warranty of a product we welding here and then free to delete so be able to see the year there could be nice because is fast and easy, for me and the customer
is already visible the name of the day, number of the day and month, just the year is missing and I’m not developer but look like all is pretty ready for the year : )
Its pointless. The year is written on the screenshot properties
Obviously is useful
Would be nice add the option turned off by default like already happen with the name of the day ( monday, tuesday … )
Isn’t this already available by installing Extension Manager and then the extension Panel Date Format
This help resoiurce outlines the format specifiers available with %G seemingly the option to choose being the ISO 8601 week-based year as a decimal number (00-99)
