Remembering Seth Nickell

I saw this very sad news being posted on LWN.

I met Seth in 2001 at the GUADEC in Copenhagen, and he was always so positive when I wanted to contribute to gnome-vfs, the ancestor to gvfs, then helping me with Totem’s design as the first movie player built for the GNOME Desktop.

We kind of lost touch in the mid-2000s, but some of us were very lucky to see his brain gears turning to come up with the outrageously named, but unique, “Task Pooper”, at a UX Hackfest in London in 2010.

Thank you for your help Seth.
