Questions about Microsoft 365 online account

I have some questions about this new feature in GNOME 46.

Does it support more functionality other than OneDrive? When you get the confirmation window that you would like to connect your O365 account to GNOME it says the app is requesting access to read/write emails and read/write contacts.

If OneDrive is the only supported functionality why is it asking for these permissions?

I also wonder why the app is unverified. Can’t GNOME go through the Microsoft verification program? Is cost an issue here?
