Python: call 'py_xxx' functions from other 'gnm_xxx' functions, possible?

hi @all,

evtl. silly question, searched but didn’t find. Gnumeric has option to use
‘py_xxxx’ functions from sheets, e.g. py_bitand, py_capwords, py_printf
defined in plugins/py-func/py_func.py.

Defining new functions for gnumeric one can call other ‘gnm_xxxx’ functions,
e.g. ‘gnumeric_quotient’ in plugins/fn-math/functions.c uses ‘gnm_trunc’.
Is there a similar way to call py_xxx functions? And if how?

TIA for any help.

nobody an idea? would be quite useful to keep up with MS who aquired? / implemented python.
