Ptyxis for GNOME 47

Ptyxis (a container-focused terminal I created for GNOME) will be the default terminal for Fedora 41. That means that for many GNOME users, they’ll have high expectations that it will be translated into their language.

I would really appreciate any last minute translations that can get in so that those GNOME users are not left out.

Ptyxis is already translated using GNOME i18n so nothing out of the ordinary should be required.

Thanks to everyone who has or is planning to contribute to GNOME with i18n/l10n!

Hi Christian,

Thanks for developing Ptyxis.

Is the following text from from https://gitlab.gnome.org/chergert/ptyxis#building still accurate now that Ptyxis is available in more distros as a regular package ?

Ptyxis is designed for Flatpak.

If you wish to install Ptyxis on your host system, you'll need some patches applied to VTE (in build-aux/) until an upstream solution is provided for container tracking. We do expect this in the not-too-distant future.

Oops, missed this message. Yes we can remove that now.
