Problem With Top Bar Icons

Hi, I’ve noticed that when apps like discord or steam run in backround go to the top bar, but their icons are just screwd up like this:

Is there a known way to fix this? I’ve been investigating and got recommended some extensions like AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support but it just throwing an error saying trayIconsManager is null and I dont’t even know if it is the solution I am loking for.

My system uses debian 13 and gnome-shell 48.7.

I don’t know if this is the right place to ask, sorry if I’m wrong I came here because when creating a Redditn post got this place recommended.

Now just works, uninstalled installed uninstalled installed uninstalled rebooted and installed again (the AppIndicator) and now works

I think asking about extensions is fine, its more that there may not be people knowing how to help here. In this case i think making an issue/searching for relevant bugs on app indicators repo would probably be safer (i.e. more people know how to help). Anyway, happy you got it working :slight_smile:
