Primary mouse button per device

Hello, I really like gnome and this could have been a very vivid dream: But I could set the primary button per device a couple of releases ago? I can be very wrong, but I loved it. Because I’m left handed and use the mouse on the left side using my index finger as a primary click. Which is the right side on the mouse.

And! I use my left hand to click on the left side on the touchpad. so the primary click is on opposite sides. I would love to be able to set that (again?) in settings.

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad left-handed right

should do the trick. The default is “mouse” which locks it to the mouse setting but you can configure it separately as “left”, “right” and “mouse”. There’s no GUI for this though (not in tweaks either)
