Predictive text input on on-screen keyboard

Curiously, gnome already has a predictive input system that works reasonably well and looks like could be integrated into OSK rather easily:

I wonder if there are any plans in this regard.

Thank you for the tip! I had never heard about that project, there is a package of it in Debian sid I will try soon. As you say, it loooks like something easy to integrate into osk, thru a gnome shell extensions for example.
