I’ve been testing Gnome OS on my HP G8 250 laptop and the experience is very fluid and stable, however I’ve been having a problem when changing power profiles. When I try to change the power profile to performance or battery saving mode, it immediately reverts to the default profile. Could someone help me with this?
One observation: this same problem occurs on some other distros on this laptop, so I usually install Tuned-ppd and that solves it. In the case of Gnome OS, this is not possible due to the type of installation it uses. The only distro where ppd works out of the box is Ubuntu; in all the others I’ve tested, I need to make the change using the tuned command I mentioned.
