Hello Team,
I am a great fan of Evince (aka, “Document Viewer”). My current version is 46.0. But for the love of God, I cannot figure out why exactly it is that my Desktop; of my Ubuntu 24.04.1; isn’t generating any of the thumbnails; that one usually notices whenever searching for PDF files on one’s Desktop.
What is the reason for this tech issue? I’ve tried ChatGPT and even the A.I. can’t help solve it. Although, I must confess on a few occasions it did, but I don’t recall the specific package installed or solution; so I thought I formally ask on this official channel.
