Paid development of functions

I miss some functions in gnome and would like to prioritize somehow its development.

I’m ready to pay to motivate someone implement some functions.
I have a list of small improvements for Nautilus, screenshot tool and more.
I am sure that ideas are good and will be supported by everyone, because I’m an expert in UI/UX.

Please route me. How it it possible to organize paid development of some wishes?

May be where is some platform where I can create a task and someone implement it?

As far as I know there isn’t an easy way to pay a developer to work on open-source software. Which isnt that surprising, as its effectively means hiring a person to do freelance work.
There was a company which attempted this (Bountysource), but AFAIK it never really gained traction.

That being aside, before we can even talk about someone coding something, there are some open questions. For example a feature which the design team would love to have, but where no resources for implementation exist could probably go through if you can provide the resources. On the other hand, a new idea would probably need to be first discussed and approved by the design team.
Add to that that any new feature will need a maintainer, which doesn’t make it easier.

I think this is the reason why this didn’t gather much traction. Its more than just paying someone to code something if its part of an larger open-source ecosystem.
