Do you have a specific outreachy project you are looking at? Do you need help getting in contact with the mentors of the project?
A good first step would be going through Newcomers - GNOME Wiki!
Feel free to join the newcomers chatroom mentioned in the wiki page and ask any question!
We are offering two projects for the upcoming Outreachy cohort. I suggest you start to get familiarized with the GNOME project, the technologies involved in the project you aim to contribute to, and contact its mentors on IRC/Matrix.
You can find @ptomato in the javascript channel, and @federico in the rust channel.
