Once stable Lenovo Carbon X is now freezing on boot 50% of the time after reinstalling Fedora

I’ve having frequent freezes on boot for Fedora 41 on a Lenovo Carbon X Gen 6.

This is happening on both Workstation and Silverblue.

What’s really odd is that I was running Silverblue since 39 on this same laptop (as a dual boot with Windows) and it was rock solid, always waking from suspend, booting without issue.

I wiped Windows off the device, and have been experiencing this issue ever since. I’m not sure if something happened with BIOS or boot drive that is creating the issue?

From Windows, I installed Fedora KDE and didn’t have any issues, but decided I wanted to go back to Gnome. Installing Workstation 41 went smooth, but started having the issues after.

I would say the freeze on boot happens 50% of the time, and it even happens when booting from the live/install ISOs.

Any help how to troubleshoot this would be much appreciated.

I also have an X1 Carbon Gen 6 where I’ve encountered this problem. I’m not sure if it’s still happening for me, though, because I don’t use it very much.
