I would like to acquire / build a local copy of the GNOME system administration manual to have offline. How would I go about that?
Not sure which version I have but I am on Debian Trixie, which has package version 1:48+2 for “gnome-core” and gsettings version 2.84.4
If you’re referring to the System Administration Guide, then you can find its source on GitLab.
The user and sysadmin documentation should be installed by default in your distribution, and you can use Yelp to read it, by going to the primary menu and selecting “All Help”.
