Noob needing help to create his first GS extension

Hello,

Because I have not found an existing one, I’d like to create an extension that would mimic Android’s switch apps, i.e.:
in overview from hitting the Super key

  • on a second super hit: escape overview with focus on the next window (in the alt-tab cycle)
  • on esc: escape overview to the window that already had focus

The documentation being rather intimidating to me, does anybody know where I should specifically look?

The best place to start is, well, the Getting Started guide :slight_smile:

Once you have a basic extension up and running, I would recommend joining the Extensions channel on Matrix for anything not available in the API Documentation or Extension Topics.
