"Need help with Geary?" do not open links

By clicking on “get in touch” in
image,
nothing happens.
The same for every link there.

It should open your browser. How did you install Geary?

I suggest you run Geary from the terminal so you may see some error message.

The link to the (retired) wiki should be replaced by a link to Topics tagged geary

I installed Geary via Flatpak.
How to run Geary from the terminal?

Issue is reproducible as below:

  1. Run flatpak run org.gnome.Geary.
  2. Menu → Help (need to setup account to access main window)
  3. In yelp navigate to "Need help with Geary" page and click remote URLs.
  4. Nothing happens (when yelp is forked from bwrap, but works as standalone process).

Nothing useful from logs.

The log is empty for me. No URL is opening in the opened/default web browser.

Yes, I confirm the issue with the flatpak package. It seems it’s a bug of Yelp (the GNOME user manual reader):

I can reproduce it with any GNOME flatpak package, for example Pika Backup.
