Due to privacy reasons I would like to have a list of certain folders whose children files or folders should be skipped recursively. Is it possible?
It’s not possible. The list of recent files is a file which is shared between all (non-sandboxed) apps in your system, so any app is free to add any files there.
I wish that there was a global list of ignore paths and all these apps could respect that.
