Nautilus issues with touchscreen

Hi folks,
I encountered some issues with Nautilus. (I’ll explain and post screenshot below)

There are 2 things I noticed:

  1. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NnGFmPrQQjLKcPgcBTFZ3rd8Ve6jJRh4/view?usp=sharing
In the File Explorer when you hold on screen with your finger to let the hold on menu appear, it appears but as soon as you raise your finger to click an option, it disappers.

  2. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u5F3AbUoeK0atlxONSgib8fnPXhQzt4E/view?usp=sharing
Touch tapping doesn’t work as intended if file explorer is put into “show files as a list” mode. It’s almost impossible to enter folder with the double tap. Sometime after 8-9 tap it may let you enter in the folder that is highlighted by the green bar.

Is there any way to fix these issues?

Since I have no idea of what info should I provide, here’s the standard hardware and software specs:

Hello. Thanks for reaching us.

There are a few issues with touchscreens. You can find the already known issues in this page

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues?scope=all&utf8=✓&state=opened&label_name[]=5.%20Touch

Please check if the problems you are seeing are already reported in any of them, and if so, use thr :+1: button to signal you are affected by that issue too. If you have additional information to provide in these issues, you can also add a comment.

If you found a new issue that hasn’t been previously reported, please file a new issue (there is a “bug” template that will help with that).

Cheers
