More DTS Woes on LG TV

Is it possible to have Rygel automatically transcode DTS audio into LPCM? This was my original assumption when first searching for a DLNA server with transcoding ability. It’s starting to look like the Digital Media Player (LG TV) has to specify what formats it supports, but dosn’t.

I am able to understand the concepts discussed in the “Transcode DTS to something supported?” Topic. I’m amusing we could run the server and the client on the same machine. I’d appreciate it if someone could explain what needs to be done to get this working. Thanks.

I’m running Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) GNOME

There is currently no way to do audio-only transcode of DTS unless the accompanying video format is MPEG2
