Login by gitlab to gnome's gitlab instance isn't working

Yet, I’m already signed into GitLab.

I have a github account with which i log into gitlab.
neither “login with github” nor “login with gitlab” allows me to login.

Alright, let me make my steps really explicit:

  • want to report severe issues with apostrophe
  • go here
  • click “register”
  • arrive here
  • Notice “register with:” above oauth buttons.
  • Click either github or gitlab.
  • get the same error message with the param changed.

Am i mistaken, or is oauth registration is supposed to work without manually creating a new account.
