As described in the title of this post and the image that hopefully correctly attached itself to this post, the bar on the left side within Nautilus is too big and doesn’t seem to be resizable by the user. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Assuming this is Nautilus 43, the sidebar is indeed not resizable. On narrower windows it automatically hides.
The sidebar shown in the screenshot doesn’t appear to be too wide. That’s a regular width.
It’s not resizable by the user. It hides automatically when the window is too short, to give more space for content.
