I recently installed a major software upgrade to Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. After several minor software upgrades after that it was working great. This morning (9/9) I (foolishly) installed another minor software upgrade and my computer has crashed twice in the space of an hour. What was so bad with the Ubuntu on 9/8 that another upgrade was offered on 9/9 that made my computer perform worse than before the major upgrade to 24.04.1 LTS?
Is there a fix coming soon?
