Laggy cursor at higher cpu usage in Wayland

Hi, I’m currently running Arch Linux Gnome 43.3 with Wayland.

I’ve realized that my cursor sometimes starts lagging / gets stuck whenever I’m doing anything slightly computationally intensive. Eg. launching apps, playing games or opening the activities overview.

This does not happen when I’m running Gnome on Xorg. Though, I’d prefer using Wayland because of its touchpad gestures.

Here’s a video of my issue:

I couldn’t find anything about it online apart from this merge request, which seems to have been fixed in some other way already. (…and this KDE bug report, but I guess it’s unrelated to Gnome)

Is this a known issue or is there something wrong in my install?
Thanks in advance

Possibly it could be any of these issues:
