I use Gnome 43.9 on Debian 12. I have installed Nextcloud Desktop, Proton Mail Bridge, Proton VPN and Signal. These applications use Keyring to save their settings. Whereas on my fixed computer (Lenovo ThinkCentre M720t) everything works normally on a Dell Precision 5530 laptop with Debian encrypted, Keyring recreates and/or deletes the keyrings at each startup and I’m forced to reconfigure the applications.
I’ve tried DEB, Flatpack and Appimage installations of these applications with identical results.
I’ve redone a non-encrypted installation and it’s the same thing.
I tested with Nextcloud Desktop, Proton Mail Bridge, Proton VPN or Signal alone for the same result.
I saved the session password in Seahorse, ditto…
I set an empty password, same thing…
I changed my laptop for a Dell Latitude 7490 and it’s the same thing.
I even installed Ubuntu and Fedora… same
Where’s my problem?
