Issue during login

Hello All,

I am facing a peculiar issue during login.

Pre-condition:

  1. Start laptop
  2. Login for the first time
  3. Now lock screen

Description/Steps:

  1. System is locked after first login
  2. Start typing password for login
  3. While typing password first few characters are typed, however suddenly the textbox looses focus and entire password does not get typed.

There is another scenario where there is issue as well.

Scenario 2:

  1. Pre-condition is same as above.
  2. Entire password is typed
  3. Press enter
  4. Lock screen is shown again

System details:
OS: Ubuntu 23.10
Extensions: None, all extensions are disabled.

Is this some kind of malware?

How to find out?

Any help is appreciated.
